John Forsyth and Linda Evans at the Hollywood Awards Dinner
Dwight Blackshear as President of the HPC was always impressed with John Forsyth He grew up watching him when just a teenager and his gentle ways were always a motivation of the way to show class. Dwight asked Linda Evans to make the presentation as they were both in the hit show Dynasty .
James Comisar, wrote the show, put together a great historical presentation for her to say and then she ad lib from there.
In his presentation John shared that he had to PAY the producers to star next to Linda in Dynasty and it gave all in the room a good laugh. His acceptance was sooooo classy and he talked about how he got in the business many, many years ago..
