It's almost impossible to visit Ubud and not get asked if you're planning to do the Mount Batur sunrise hike. It's one of the most popular things to do in Bali with tours setting out every morning. Somehow, I put off climbing Mt. Batur until my 4th trip to Bali, but I finally checked it off the list! In this vlog, I'll show you what the experience was like, from a 2 a.m. wake up call to a very cold and windy sunrise on the summit. I also visited a cafe that's famous for its view of Mt. Batur and a great vegan restaurant back in Ubud.

*I booked this hike as part of a tour through my hostel. It cost 400K IDR (~$26 USD) and included transportation to and from Mt. Batur, a guide, and breakfast at the summit.
