In 1966, Eton College announced their decision to an earlier proposal of ditching the traditional Eton College morning coat, stiff collars, striped trousers and top hat for a more conventional tweed jacket and flannel trousers.Provost of Eton, Lord Caccia, said that, "The question of the boys' dress had been decided not to make any change."
