The FAS-122 can simultaneously shape the inside and outside profiles of radius parts. As a consequence of the unique double vertical spindle configuration with independent two axis adjustment and the special floating feed mechanism that feeds the material smoothly between two cutters grille bars, true divided lite muntin bars and mullion mouldings can be completed in one pass.

The unique spindle configuration with independent two axis adjustment allows for conventional and climb cutting. A special floating feed mechanism feeds the material smoothly between two rub bearings mounted on the tool spindles while two shaping bits cut the profile from both sides. The distance between the spindles is air compensated in order to accomidate any variations in moulding width. The FAS-122 can be built to run with either shaper or router bits.
