My Final Thoughts:
This is a very simple but effective product. Keep them charged and ready and they will heat up quickly when you need them. If you slip your hand through the lanyard you won't drops them if you suddenly need to use your hands to do something. They are waterproof so you don't have to worry if they get a bit wet in the snow or whatever. All in all I'd say they are a useful product for anyone who experiences cold hands for whatever reason.
