On the 26th of August State reported some 18 species of cetaceans of what seems to be Peponocephala Electra known as Pilot Whales or Elelctra Dolphin. In a press conference Minister of Ocean Economy Saudheer Maudhoo is saying that at first analysis there seems to be no connection between Wakashio and cetaceans' death... Because of the breach of trust between the people and the State over the latter's negligence and inaction, thus responsibility, in the ecocide, civil society is demanding for independent analysis and investigation to be conducted.
Meanwhile bodies of dead cetaceans are still coming ashore and is adding in despair and anger of the population.
