Playing around with trying to create more interesting patterns that change over time. This is one of the ways i'm trying.

Okay, Pepe Silvia time...

Firstly I'm dividing a slow trigger into long gates. I’m using the dual 8 step seq in ornament and crime to trigger the kick and snare on the vpme.de quad drum. When a gate is fed into the second trigger input, the kick and snare patterns switch. I'm then running both trigger outputs through a VCA and which is then opened up by two of my divided gates. The two hats are triggered by one fast clock running through a brancher again in ornament and crime. I use an LFO from ochd to swing the probability between A and B. These two sounds run into FX Aid XL. Another slow gate triggers an envelope which raises the wet signal of the delay.

Rings was added to round things out. The same trigger sequencing the kick triggers a new pitch out of Turing Machine. This is quantised by my second O&C and then runs into Tain before hitting rings. I randomly switch between the pitched output and nothing, switching Rings between melody and a droning root. It's running through Monsoon to widen the sound and add a bit of delay. The texture slider is modulated to bring the delayed tones in and out of the mix. A short un-synced gate out of Maths triggers the freeze. The inverted output of the envelope that’s affecting the dry and wet signal on FX Aid XL is run into my sequential switch. Three outputs are empty so this is only released 1/4 of the time. When it does, it hits the position slider, throwing a warped delay sound into the mix. When the freeze is activated, this can’t be heard.
