"As you go through the short sale process, the bank is really working on one hand with us and negotiating to complete the short sale. Another part of the bank, the loss mitigation or the foreclosure department is also working on foreclosing on home in the event that the short sale does not end up coming
What would happen is as we're going through the process of a short sale, a lot of times we will get a notice of trustee sale, but we do have the ability to get that trustee sale either extended or suspended altogether until we can complete the short sale. So again in that event, we were in the driver seat as far as when that trustee sale happens or if it happens at all."
