Why Is Spelling Difficult for Kids? : A Kendore Learning Webinar

Many kids (and adults) find it challenging to understand the complexities of English spelling patterns. They can become easily frustrated when attempting to convey their ideas, and their writing may be limited to only using words they know how to spell. During this webinar, Executive Director, Jennifer Hasser, M.Ed., discussed why many struggle with spelling and outlined effective strategies for spelling instruction. Parents and educators will come away from this presentation with a better understanding of why spelling errors occur and how to fix them.
