I gotta be honest with you, some people are just naturally gifted at freestyle rapping and putting words together off the top of the dome. But that doesn't mean you can't become a pro at it. If your style is better when you write then stick to writing when making your songs and if you're better at freestyling in the booth then stick to that. Focus on your strengths.

I remember back in the days when I wanted to learn how to freestyle rap like a pro in an era when people like Cassidy, Lloyd Banks, Jadakiss etc were dropping some of the hottest freestyles I ever heard. The only way to truly grow your skills at rapping off the top is by doing it over and over again and you can't be afraid to mess up at all. Picking up on the things you see can help give you lots of ideas while you are rapping and also telling stories during your freestyle can help you stay on queue and help give you ideas for the NEXT word to rhyme with. Rapping off the dome is fun! So keep going and don't give up
