War 2 (2025) is the most anticipated action spy thriller of the year, but it falls flat as a generic spy film lacking real thrill despite its grand visuals. Hrithik Roshan reprises Kabir, now secretly working against a dangerous group called Kali, turning evil to stop them. Enter Jr NTR as Vikram, a high-level operative with unmatched intelligence and power, clashing with Kabir in epic confrontations. Kiara Advani plays Kavya Luthra, personally tied to the story, while Anil Kapoor joins as the new RAW chief. The plot is ambitious, blending backstories, romance, and drama, but inconsistent execution ruins it. VFX looks outdated, editing is choppy, and over-the-top action feels cartoonish—from temple fights to plane chases. Performances shine: Hrithik's vulnerability and NTR's dominance stand out, but weak screenplay, dull music, and forced emotional arcs make it a missed opportunity. Reminiscent of Fast & Furious twists, it shifts from thriller to family drama. If you're a spy fan, it'll frustrate; otherwise, it's an average watch. Spy Universe deserved better!
