Main Street Electrical Parade - Second to Last Performance

This is never before seen footage of the second to last performance of the Main Street Electrical Parade at Disneyland park, and perhaps ever!! This video was recorded on August 20, 2017, the final night of the Main Street Electrical Parade's final bow! Enjoy!

I decided to upload this video, for the reason that today marks EXACTLY ONE YEAR since the Main Street Electrical Parade has returned to Disneyland Park!! January 20, 2017 was such an unforgettable night, I really wish I can go back in time and experience that night once more!!

There was a premiere party for this parade on January 19, 2017, so if you attended, I hope this brought back some memories!

Main Street Electrical Parade returned to Disneyland Park on January 20, 2017.

I managed to view both, the first showtime at "it's a small world" Mall, and the second next to the sleeping beauty castle at Main Street U.S.A.

If you're craving for some memories of January 20, then here is what I have gone through that night, and maybe you have too! I walk into Main Street U.S.A. at about 7:40PM, and I cannot find a single spot to view and record the parade. I continue down through Main Street U.S.A. and I find a small viewing spot right next to the Photopass Shop. The problem was that the angle I was going to record from was definitely not good AT ALL. So I decided to continue making my way down the parade route. Finally, I make it to "it's a small word" Mall and find just the right spot to view and record the parade. So I immediately began to go through the crowds of viewers to reach that viewing area. Now there I am looking at the rows of guests with the Main Street Electrical Parade Mickey ears, the puddles of water from past rainfall on the parade route, as well as the glowing lights of "it's a small world" Holiday. Later, about 20 minutes away from the first showtime, it's been announced that ALL viewing areas are full. Then at 8:29PM, it's been announced that the Main Street Electrical Parade was delayed due to technical difficulties. I then stare upwards at the clouds floating above Disneyland and realize that there was a major chance of rain as well. Surely enough, it's then announced that the parade may be cancelled due to rain. But it seems as the rain never fell from the sky, as then comes 8:40PM... the lights turn blue, and Jack Wagner's voice is heard once more. Afterwards, the nostalgia all comes back piece by piece! I felt like I was three years old again... except this time, I was now at Disneyland instead of Disney California Adventure!! And after that, I am put in a state of awe! The nostalgia was real!

Now, can we expect to see this parade again? Perhaps so! At D23 Expo this year, it's been announced that there is a major announcement coming soon for the Main Street Electrical Parade, but no one knows when that will happen!

Or maybe when the parade will return... ;)

I know that whole passage may not have been necessary, but I just decided to write down my memories since I had time to kill and nothing much to do. And why not bring back some memories made prior to the first showtime? :)
