Part 3 of my Adobe Illustrator Tutorial for Beginners, part of my Toolbar Series. This episode goes over all of the graphic design type tools in Adobe Illustrator. In this guide, I discuss in detail the type tool, area type tool, type on a path tool, vertical type tool, vertical area type tool, vertical type on a path tool, and the touch type tool...whew long list.

In addition to going over the basics, I also cover the Character Window which has all the setting for fonts: font size, leading height (space between lines of text), kerning, tracking, vertical scale, horizontal scale, baseline shift, text rotation, and other text/font options.
