Debt Confessions of a Shopaholic | How Social Media and Peer Pressure Got Me Into Debt | Real Talk

Hey guys, it's time for some real talk. In today's world, we often blame debt on a lack of financial literacy. But, in my case, I have excellent knowledge of all things finance, I'm just terrible at applying that knowledge.

Part of the struggle has been trying to keep with the latest trends and aesthetics on social media. While searching for who I wanted to be, I would copy other influencers thinking that I need everything they have to be happy.

I am also a travel-aholic. I never say no to an exotic trip even when I don't have the money for it. Slowly, I'm working on re-wiring my brain, but the first step is understanding why I got into debt in the first place.
