Dapol 2D-019-009 | Class 43 HST High Speed Train Pack | GWR Green | N Gauge | Review | HD

Here is my review of the Dapol N scale Class 43 HST High Speed Train Pack in the GWR Green livery. The model power cars are based on 43187 and 43188 although neither are named. I used to have the OO Gauge Hornby version but I am now into N gauge and I am enjoying the smaller scale.

The model train pack is DCC ready with the 6 pin DCC connection so you can use your favourite brand with this model train to allow it to operate on your DCC model railway.

The model has directional lighting but no working marker lights, so I am taking off one point off the model as there is only one headlight which may be a concern for some. .

The performance test was excellent to say the least and the motor is almost silent when running. I added another car into the consist as I would like to make this into a 9 car HST.

Overall Rating: 9/10.
