Belper is a market town in Derbyshire. It's a popular town for visitors but we take a look at the things to do in Belper and the things to see in Belper to see if it lives up to the hype and if you should visit Belper or not when deciding on where to travel for your next day out.

If you like shopping or sitting and relaxing outside a pub in a market square then Belper might just be for you. Belper is a town and civil parish in the local government district of Amber Valley in Derbyshire, England, located about 7 miles north of Derby on the River Derwent. As well as Belper itself, the parish also includes the village of Milford and the hamlets of Bargate, Blackbrook and Makeney.

Visit the charming market town of Belper to discover the rich industrial heritage at the centre of the Valley that Changed the World. Belper is the only market town located at the heart of the Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site.
