In this third addition to the simulated “Flight from the Cockpit” series, we are going to fly a family from Dubai to the beautiful and pristine islands of the Seychelles and giving them tips on what the islands have to offer! While this sounds great, a lot of flight planning work had to be done to ensure the safety of those onboard. This includes navigating a complex geopolitical situation in the region, reading NOTAMs and advisories issued by aviation safety agencies.
We will be flying the VistaJet Bombardier Challenger 650 (flight model by Hotstart, by far the most sophisticated study-level recreation of an aircraft in any flight simulator!)
Enjoy a morning departure, starting inside the FBO with flight planning, conversing with our First Officer who will be pilot monitoring during the departure.
A first of its kind in this series is adding a part titled “Destination Guide”, discussing with the passengers what the island offers in terms of adventure, food, and nature. We are sure you’re bound to learn a thing or two on this magnificent island-state.
Our flight is simulated using the amazing X Plane 12 flight simulator.
