Story Outline:

In a lush forest, there lived a crow who was notorious for his harsh and unpleasant singing. Because of his loud and grating voice, all the other animals stayed away from him.

One day, in search of food, the crow ventured out of the forest and into a nearby village. Fortunately, he found a piece of bread. The crow picked up the bread and flew back to his tree in the forest to enjoy his meal.

Just then, a hungry fox passed by and saw the crow with the bread. The fox, feeling ravenous, began to think of ways to get the bread from the crow. As the crow was about to eat, the fox called out to him from below, “Oh, King Crow, I have heard that someone here sings with a melodious voice. Is it you?”

Hearing the fox praise his voice, the crow felt very pleased and nodded his head in agreement. The fox continued, “Oh, King, why do you jest with me? How can I believe you sing so sweetly unless you show me? Please, sing a song for me so I can believe it.”

The crow, swayed by the fox's flattery, opened his mouth to sing. As soon as he did, the bread fell from his beak. The clever fox quickly grabbed the bread and ran away, leaving the hungry crow regretting his actions.

Moral of the Story:

This story teaches us that we should never be swayed by false praise. Be cautious of those who flatter you for their own benefit. Always think twice before trusting such people.
