Penn State at Pittsburgh 1998 GAME STORY

Описание к видео Penn State at Pittsburgh 1998 GAME STORY

Penn State traveled to Pittsburgh to acquire one of its sloppiest victories in the 1990's era. In a low scoring affair, the Lions offense couldn't find an identity. But quarterback Kevin Thompson hit a couple of long balls which contributed to the only two offensive touchdowns for Penn State. Luckily, the defense brought the pressure all game and simply just beat up Pitt's quarterback. The front seven had a field day teeing off on him. The one possession victory wasn't what the Lion fans were hoping for, but a win is a win.

Penn State's Top Performers:

Lavar Arrington: 3 sacks, 1 interception
Chafie Fields: 3 catches, 76 yards, TD

Penn State moves to 3-0 in the 1998 season. Pittsburgh suffered its first loss of the year to the Nittany Lions bringing their record to 1-1, but they would finish the season with only 2-9 mark as a member of the Big East Conference.
