A Moonshine fueled Musical Tribute to America (hope they don't revoke my citizenship) | How to Drink

Just the high octane moonshine fueled thing you need for your Fourth of July BBQ. So beautiful I shed a tear...

The purpose of this drink is to be layered Red, White and Blue, beyond that my goal was to make it tasty and from all American spirits. Typically when you get into color focused drinks the vodka comes out, since it's clear and easy to work with, but here in the good ol' US of A we have a little something we call mountain dew, white lightning, white dog, country tonic, I'm talking about moonshine. So get yourself a bottle of that and some bourbon and a watermelon and you're good to go. You'll need a bunch of crushed ice and a shaker (three shakers ideally but you can do it in one like me). You could use a blender, but you'll need to clean out the blender completely after each layer, and that seemed like a pain.

• Chunk'a Watermelon
• 1oz. or 30 ml. Bourbon
• Shake & Pour
• 1 o.z or 30 ml. Moonshine
• .5 oz. -o-r 15 ml. Lemon Juice
• .5 oz. or 15 ml. Simple Syrup
• Shake & pour
• 1 oz. or 30 ml. Moonshine
• .5 oz. or 15 ml. Blue Curaçao
• .5 oz. or 15 ml. Simple Syrup
