Hey everyone. This is Eric. Recently, I managed to upgrade the equipment I needed to capture high quality video game footage. All of this was possible with 3 major devices:
The EVGA XR1 Lite Capture Card: Perfectly captures 1080p in 60 FPS. Managed to work pretty well on HD consoles.
Avstar 4K HDMI 2x1 Splitter: Mainly got this splitter for my PS3, since the console has HDCP (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection), which blocks capture cards from recording HD footage on the console.
Component to HDMI Converter: Works pretty well for recording off of my retro consoles, specifically the PS2 and Wii.

The footage shown will be a sign of the channel's future.

TIMESTAMPS:
00:00 - Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal (PS2)
4:05 - Tekken 5 (PS2) (480i)
5:25 - Tekken 5 (PS2) (480p)
6:48 - Tekken 5 (PS2) (480p, Widescreen)
8:13 - Punch-Out!! (Wii)
13:33 - Metroid Prime: Trilogy (Wii)
19:16 - Klonoa: Door to Phantomile (PS1) (Recorded from PS3)
22:38 - Persona 3: FES (PS2) (Recorded from PS3)
25:33 - Uncharted: Drake's Fortune (PS3)
26:56 - Sonic Generations (PS3)
30:13 - Amplitude (PS4)
33:49 - Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time (PS4)
41:57 - Splatoon 3 (Switch)
45:58 - Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (Switch)

IMPORTANT NOTE: Regarding the footage for the upcoming reviews of Life is Strange: Before the Storm and Life is Strange 2, the footage that'll be used for those reviews were recorded straight from the PS4 via the console's Share function, and they'll still be used in the reviews. But after those videos, future game footage will be recorded with the new equipment from here on out.
