The January 22, 1942 Rochester Courier had more pages than the usual. That is because it had a Special Supplement added it that announced the opening of Frisbie Hospital. This was not the first medical facility in Rochester nor was it the first one to be named Frisbie. In this episode we will look at the days when there was no hospital in Rochester as well several hospitals in the early 1900's that called Rochester home.
