Kayaking trip with a group of friends under the warm sunny day in and around Lagos (Algarve, South of Portugal) was an relaxing and at the same time rewarding experience during this difficult and challenging time of after lockdown of COVID-19 Pandemic crisis in Europe and around the world. Beautiful beaches of Lagos have always been one of the top favourite tourist destinactions during the summer time and one of the top 25 destinations in south of Europe.
I was able to enjoy the warm weather, excellent food and golden white sandy beaches of Lagos during 4 to 5 days of my stay there. Kayaking is a great way to explore the numerous coves, caves or as Portugese call it Grottos, the more popular being Ponta da Piedade, and there are many such as Benagil Caves, praia de marinha spread all across the south coast of Portugal. During my stay in Lagos I stayed at the Hotel Dom Pedro Lagos https://lagos.dompedro.com/en/. Hotel Dom Pedro Lagos is 10 minutes wlaking distance from the Lagos railway station & the Lagos Marina. The Hotel is right on the Beach https://g.page/dompedrolagos?share. I stayed there for 4 Days and 3 nights. With excellent view of the Beach and including a healthy Breakfast.
