S1 – Ep 492 – Redelinghuys, Western Cape!

Driving through the picturesque area to reach the settlement of Redelinghuys was a fantastic experience. A stop at the Rooi Stoor Farm Stall added an interesting twist to our journey. We were thrilled to arrive in Redelinghuys, a charming little village situated on the Verlorenvlei River. The charm of the town was evident, and we weren't the only ones captivated by it since we saw many new homes being built, suggesting that others have also fallen in love with this place. The gardens and houses were pretty, contributing to the appeal of the village. However, it was disheartening to discover that the once-magnificent Dutch Reformed Church had burnt to the ground in 2019. Hopefully, it will be rebuilt one day.
