Dream Build: Ultralight Carbon Weight Weenie XC Race Bike

This build is a study in the actual cost to build an extreme, yet completely usable, ultra light weight rigid carbon fiber XC MTB race bike using a mix of both premium parts for reliability and safety and alternate, lower cost import parts for budgeting.

This bike, as seen, clocks in between 15-20 lbs (but you'll have to watch to the end to see the actual weight) and at the time, cost $2800 USD to build. It is very light, extremely fun and accelerates like a rocketship!
