Starting the Colorado Trail: Backpacking Solo, SOBO | CT22 Thru-Hike

It’s time to start backpacking the Colorado Trail! I’m going solo and hiking SOBO, from Waterton Canyon outside Denver to Durango. Come along on my latest thru-hike attempt and soak up the beauty of this 500-mile trail.

Hi, I'm Joey, an adventurous spirit who loves the outdoors. In 2018 I set out to thru-hike the Appalachian Trail, sharing my journey with all its ups and downs. Since then I overcame a major upheaval in my life and came back stronger than ever. I built out a Promaster camper van (DIY, naturally!) and took to full-time van life with my dog, Forest.

I'm traveling, backpacking, and exploring the US. I hope you'll join me along the way.
