Red Phantom: Sam Fisher dons red NVGs representing this playthrough's strict ghost rule set. Sam cannot be detected in any capacity and limits his physical interaction on the environment, leaving no trace behind. If there is even the slightest aural or visual detection made by an NPC, it results in a mission reset. Sam utilizes the OCP over all other diversion methods, as its impact on the environment is minimal and more believable than other distractions. There will be only a few circumstances where whistling, using a gadget, or tossing a smoke grenade will be necessary for accomplishing the Red Phantom rule set.
