Average Guy Plays in a Pro Golf Tournament!

In 2023 two time major champion Justin Thomas shot 81 at the US Open. In 2024 I shot 88 at a mini tour event. This is by far my worst round in over a decade but how bad was it really? Assuming Justin Thomas is a +5 handicap his 11 over par 81 is 16 shots worse than his handicap. Im a 0 handicap so my 16 over par 88 is 16 shots worse than my handicap. Meaning, that my 88 was as bad to me as Justin's 81 was to him. And what did he say about that round? "Sometimes you just shoot a million."

Give up on me if you want to, but for those of you who don't, save this video and revisit it next September and compare it to all we accomplish next year. At the end of the day, sometimes you just shoot a million and you just have to move on. It's a data point, its feedback, but it doesn't have to be more than that.
