Recently, the Union Finance Minister launched the GST Appellate Tribunal (GSTAT) – a statutory body under the CGST Act, 2017.

This tribunal will:
✅ Streamline GST dispute resolution
✅ Reinforce trust in India’s indirect tax system
✅ Work on the principle of “One Nation, One Forum”
✅ Have its main bench in New Delhi and 31 branches across India in 45 locations
✅ Each branch will include 2 judicial members, 1 central technical member, and 1 state technical member
✅ Operate digitally via the GSTAT e-Court portal for online filing, case tracking & virtual hearings
