Walking tour of Santorini , Greece.

Join us on a walk around Oia, Imerovigli,Firostefani and Fira on the wonderful Greek island of Santorini.
We spent a week in early October on the stunning little island of Santorini and stayed at Tzekos villas in Fira the capital of the island.
This was our second trip to the Santorini, and the weather was wonderful , and we found that Santorini was not quite as busy as our last visit which was in mid September.
If you have never been to the Santorini , then be prepared for some steep climbs around the villages around the famous Caldera. Santorini can be very busy, especially when there are several large cruise ships visiting for the day.
There are many wonderful restaurants and bars to choose from all around the Caldera in Santorini, with stunning views and you will find the more expensive one's are the one's with the Caldera view.
Look around some of the side street's and you will find many places to eat at a fraction of the price compared to the places on the Caldera.
Buses run every 20 minutes or so from the main bus station in Fira to all the other main parts of the island , but be warned, it does get very busy at the station.
Aktaion and Vanilia restaurants in Firostefani are well worth a visit for wonderful food , and Parea Tavern , Cesare , and Dionysos in Atlantis are 3 very good places to eat in Fira. These are just a few restaurants we tried, and there are plenty of other very good places to try.
