A TOUR AT AKOKONO HOUSE | Palm Weevil Research and Business Centre in Ghana 🇬🇭 |

We all need to be enlightened. There is a wide range of foods out there that we need to learn about and probably experience. Take for instance the palm weevil larvae, one of the edible insects in the world which is farmed from palm trees.

The are high in protein, takes lot less feed and space to grow unlike traditional livestock and can be used in variety of dishes just like any meat or fish we know .
Akokono house is a research and development center and now a commercial center that is into the sale of Akokono and its related products.

The amazing thing is that the Akokono is bred , processed, packaged and used for meals right at this centre. There are amazing products made from akokono that will wow you because of it’s uniqueness and taste .

AKOKONO house is located on KNUST campus at mango road and it’s open from Monday to Sunday for business.
