Is this the world's unluckiest fox?!

Over the years we have rescued foxes from almost every situation imaginable, but this poor vixen has to be the unluckiest patient we've seen for some time!

Originally getting her leg caught in a fence, she was freed by a member of the public before running straight down a deep hole in her bid to escape... in a strange twist of fate, she was very lucky to have done so, as our rescuers found a nasty paw injury from the fence that needed treating.

However tempting it may be, please always seek professional help when freeing a trapped animal. Many have wounds or injuries that require treatment and would struggle if left to fend for themselves!
