Lahore: Pakistan’s exceptional ice cream brand Magnum, tantamount with chocolate and fashion hosted its biggest event of the year. After a series of unprecedented chocolate showcases in Karachi, Magnum bought its much anticipated calendar event to Lahore: The Magnum Chocolate Party was named as ‘A Chocolate Affair’.
The Magnum Chocolate Party is a fashion and chocolate inspired event that is being held annually since 2012. It is a decadent night curated to celebrate creative indulgence.
It brings together artists, designers, models, musicians and fashionistas in tribute to its extremely enjoyable Belgian chocolate. By creating inventive and innovative content each year the platform has formed a bequest where the fete is one of the most awaited events of the social calendar.
And guess what? Magnum Party did surprise every one with something which couldn’t be expected. Building on last year’s event, the party got supplemented with the fusion of technology. The exclusive star-studded party wasn’t just an event; it was luxury with technology making the magic happen. Event organizers brought in the Pioneer & Industry leading projection mapping company – 3D Illumination to make all the magic happen. Names needing no introduction in the industry had the best of the red carpet moments and the digital dynamic instagram booth became the interest to all. Instagram booth at Magnum Party gave the opportunity to shake and move while being in the chocolate evening. Laughs and cheers were witnessed all around the 3D illuminated dynamic Instagram booth. The 2017 Magnum Party may be over, but thanks to the wow Instagram booth, the evening's magic will live on for very long. The video booth, an element in the Magnum Party are in trend but the dynamic instagram booth made celebrities go an extra mile. What an entertaining experience it was.

The big thing came up when a dress fashioned by Kamiar Rukni got blended with the skill set of Umer Toor’s team. Never witnessed or even expected in Pakistan was right there. 3D Projection mapped dress was part of the Magnum Party 2017. All on the floor couldn’t resist videoing Meesha in 3D Illuminated dress. The affair took place on Monday, 9th October and brought to Pakistan, for the first time ever, the globally celebrated and award winning chocolate artiste, chocolatier Paul Joachim, more popularly known as The Chocolate Genius.
Paul has repeatedly captured audiences worldwide with his impeccable prowess in the manner with which he crafts pieces of art and fashion from chocolate. He will be creating tailored pieces specifically for this show. Further, at ‘A Chocolate Affair’, The Chocolate Genius is set to collaborate with super designer and master of theatrics, Ali Xeeshan for a first of its kind fashion and chocolate inspired connection.
In terms of fashion platforms, expect tolerantly artistic and statement capsule collections from master design house Élan helmed by Khadijah Shah, renowned menswear designer Munib Nawaz and Hussain Rehar, currently Pakistan’s most exciting, innovative and disruptive emerging designer. Meesha Shahi appearance in a dress projected by team at 3Di left the audience stunned.
‘A Chocolate Affair’, brought in some of Pakistan’s most talented artists for the show. Magnum party 2017 also featured fashion whizzes Kamiar Rokni and Rehan Bashir of The House of Kamiar Rokni. Kamiar Rukni and Rehan Bashir were part of Magnum party 2017 as Fashion Show Directors and creators of a bespoke piece for Meesha Shafi. Both joined with seasoned musician/producer Mekaal Hasan as the show’s Sound Producer and 3Di as projection mapping experts.
