Flinders is the perfect place to study outdoor education, not only because the teaching staff are focussed on a holistic approach to outdoor Ed (learning about and from First Nations cultures, the emotional, social, psychological aspects of outdoor education as well as the practical hard skills of outdoor Ed) but Flinders is also nestled in amongst the foothills by Sturt Gorge, with immediate access to hiking and biking trails, and nearby access to the coast.
