103 Year Old Man Breaks World Record For Oldest Tandem Skydive

Al Blaschke written his name into the history books by becoming the world's oldest person to perform a tandem sky-dive, at the grand old age of 103.

Taking place over San Marcos, Texas, on July 2nd with the help of Skydive Spaceland San Marcos, Al flew up 14,000 feet into the air and leapt out into the clear blue skies.

The historical, Guinness world record-breaking moment was captured by Thomas Hughes, 39, and the Skydive Spaceland San Marcos crew.

Thomas said: "I was contacted by a lady called Betty Schlader, she is friends with Al. Betty bought up the idea of Al jumping to celebrate his twin grandson's graduation and at the same time him breaking the Guinness world record for oldest tandem skydiver.
