Dynasty Warriors 8 (Wei) Battle of Xu Province Star Guide (English)

In this guide I'll be showing how to get the star on the stage; Battle of Xu Province- Quickly defeat Tao Qian will enable the stage "Battle of Puyang" to be unlocked.

If you for whatever reason you do not have speakers / sound. Read here.
1. You could simply follow exactly what the game play is showing, (I'll add annotations)
or 2. At the start defeat those 2 generals quickly and follow the road. Along the road Guo Jia will mention taking over siege weapons, defeat Mi Fang and take one of his catapults. Drive it up the hill and use it to destroy the enemies boulder device. At this point, head to the far south and follow the road there. Guo Jia will suspect something odd in the forest, take one of the forest paths and ruin the enemy ambush. At this point defeat both ambushing generals and enter the castle, 2 generals will appear and say something along the lines of we wont let you get to Tao Qian! Defeat them both and head west and wait by the gate till it's open. Once the fire starts, the gates will open. Now from here on out, rush as fast as you can to the North West to catch Tao Qian before he makes it to Liu Bei. Use your musou meter on your horse whenever possible. (preferably in an open area, not in a garrison) There will be some garrisons where you have to defeat 1 general to get passed it, so be prepared for those as well. Other than that, if you managed to use your musou meter wisely and followed this guide, you should catch Tao Qian before he makes to safety.
