This video presents the basics of what an RF/microwave comb generator is. It shows that a comb generator is simply a circuit or generator that creates an output which contains many multiples (harmonics) of the input signal. The scope is used to show both the "comb" in the frequency domain on the spectrum analyzer, and to show the time domain waveforms (impulses) on the oscilloscope. A few of the common applications for comb generators are discussed.
