Living in Rangilu Rajkot, a city in the state of Gujarat, India, offers a mix of modern amenities and traditional culture. Here's a breakdown of different aspects of life in Rajkot:
1. Living Expenses
Housing: Rent is quite affordable compared to major cities like Ahmedabad or Mumbai. Monthly rent for a 2 BHK apartment can range between ₹8,000 to ₹15,000, depending on the area and amenities.
Utilities: Basic utilities like electricity, water, gas, internet, and garbage collection cost around ₹2,000 to ₹4,000 per month.
Groceries & Food: For a family, monthly grocery costs might range from ₹8,000 to ₹10,000 (including milk), while eating out at local restaurants can cost between ₹150-₹350 per person.
Transportation: Local transportation via auto rickshaws or buses is inexpensive, with auto fares starting at ₹50-₹60 for short distances. Using apps like Ola and Uber is also an option, but taxis are not readily available.
2. Working Culture:
Work Environment: Rajkot, being an industrial hub, has a growing working culture, especially in manufacturing, engineering, and the diamond industry. It's a blend of traditional family-run businesses and emerging startups. The pace is slightly slower compared to metros.

Blinkit and Zepto recently started their services here but Urban Company is not available.
6.Connectivity:
Internet: Rajkot has decent internet connectivity with high-speed broadband services available through providers like Jio, Airtel and GTPL. But Jio and Airtel services are not available in some areas and societies.
Transport Connectivity: Rajkot is well-connected by road and rail. The city is a key junction on the Western Railway network. It also has a domestic airport, but offers only 11-12 flights to few cities only. Travel to nearby cities like Ahmedabad, Surat, or Mumbai is convenient via highways or trains.
7. Attitude of People:
Friendly & Hospitable: People in Rajkot are generally warm, friendly, and hospitable. They take pride in their traditional Gujarati values, which emphasize family, community, and hospitality. Visitors are often treated with great respect.
