Chicago Coaches Corners zoom podcast is proud to feature Veletta Johnson and Harvey Catchings. Both are proud parents of adult children that have and are currently playing professional sports. Veletta is a Chicago native and single mother residing in Sacramento, CA. She has coached at various levels and was the co-founder of Future Basketball Academy in Sacramento and Academic Director of Showtime Hoops Basketball Academy. Her son Darin Johnson played basketball at the University of Washington and California State University Northridge. Is currently playing with the Philadelphia 87ers out of Delaware.

Harvey Catchings is a former NBA players who played with the Philadelphia 76ers, New Jersey Nets, Milwaukee Bucks and Los Angeles Clippers. His daughter is WNBA Hall of Famer Tamika Catchings, four time Olympic gold medal recipient, played on twelve WNBA all-star teams, won a WNBA championship with the Indiana Fever in conjunction with being the WNBA finals MVP and voted by fans as one of the WNBA top fifteen players of all time.
