Rogers Dynasonic Snare Drum Up-Close by Ken Loomer-Part 1

Описание к видео Rogers Dynasonic Snare Drum Up-Close by Ken Loomer-Part 1

This is my late 1960`s Rogers Dynasonic snare drum. What made this snare drum so famous was because of the patented snare frame or bridge which the snares laid on. The entire snare frame would then touch on the bottom head.Buddy Rich was the person who told Ben Strauss(artist relations and sales manager of Rogers Drums) that he wanted a snare drum that if he touched it,it would respond, and if he played it at FFF level it would not fall apart. So Joe Thompson the chief engineer at Rogers made this drum and called it the Dynasonic Snare. The first one came out in 1962 with the old Rogers lugs. My Dynasonic from the late 1960`s were the best made.It was chrome over brass shell with the newer lugs and it just has an amazing clear sound to it. Check out Part 2 to hear this drum in action.
