On the directions of the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, DoPPW had launched an online platform entitled ‘Anubhav’ in March 2015 for sharing experiences of retiring government employees while working with the Government.
The portal is celebrating its illustrious 10 years in 2025 with more than 12,500 write-ups published on the portal, with 93 Anubhav Awardees.
A short movie was released at the 8th "National Anubhav Awards" ceremony held at Vigyan Bhawan on 18.08.2025. Hon’ble Union Minister of State Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, felicitated 15 awardees under National Anubhav Awards Scheme, 2025.
The movie captures the glorious ten years’ journey of National Anubhav Awards and celebrates the achievements and contribution of 15 Anubhav awardees.

Prominent "National Anubhav Award" winners were Sh. M. Venkatesan who, superannuating after 35 distinguished years as civil servant, documented his services during critical times including the 2014 Kashmir floods and the Ukraine evacuation of 2022, Sh. Hukum Singh Meena, who spearheaded the digitisation of land records in over 6.4 lakh villages; Ms. Shalini Kacker of SBI, who drove Direct Benefit Transfer, pension reforms and Digital Life Certificate campaigns in banking.
Sh. O. Virupakshappa of the Department of Posts, who expanded postal savings and insurance schemes to rural communities; and Sh. Saju P.K. of the CRPF, who served in sensitive operational areas and elite SPG group. The Jury Awardees included Sh. Jai Prakash Srivastava (BHEL), Sh. Vinod P. and Dr. Sabu Sebastian (DRDO), Dr. (Smt.) Jolly Dhar (ISRO), Ms. Sunitha Cherodath(Telecom), Sh. S. Meenakshi Sundaram and Sh. Balam Singh Rawat(CRPF), Ms. Velaga Kumari (CWC), Ms. Sheela Rani Poddar (CRPF), and Sh. Santosh Gawli (ITBP), reflecting the wide range of services represented.
