The Galaxy Wheel at Galveston's historic Pleasure Pier was disassembled and prepared for transportation to a different location to be refurbished. Consolidated Crane was called in to lift the structure of the Ferris Wheel from the support legs to then be loaded onto a truck and transported off site. Other components of the Galaxy Wheel were also removed and put on trucks for transportation.
