▶️ Here are 5 ESSENTIAL snare drum patterns for the BEGINNER DRUMMER! Break out the metronome and practice pad and put them to work with these 16th note STICKING PHRASES. These patterns are not only great for your hands to develop SPEED and COORDINATION, but can be used as warm-ups, fills, linear drum grooves... the list goes on!

▶️ All 5 patterns have been recorded at 60 and 120bpm, but for your practice sessions the target is a speed where you can comfortably play the phrases for 1 MINUTE without mistakes. Only then should you increase metronome tempo.

And don't forget the GOLDEN RULE of practice pad practice.... IF YOU MAKE A MISTAKE 3 TIMES IN A ROW, YOU MUST LOWER THE CLICK TEMPO.
