Seven Days Battle

A tour of the Seven Days Battles from the documentary The Civil War Tour. Confederate troops under the command of General Lee attacked Union troops under the command of General McClellan in an attempt to push them away from Richmond, Virginia. A series of attacks began at Beaver Dam Creek as Union troops continued to retreat. After Beaver Dam Creek, battles would be fought at Gaines Mill, Savages Station, White Oak Swamp, Glendale and Malvern Hill. Lee is convinced that McClellan will not attack Richmond and makes plans for the Maryland Campaign.
