The Aquarite salt generator will remind you every three months to inspect you salt cell. This doesn't mean that you should simply shut off the alarm, it means it should actually be inspected and cleaned.....

We start the same way as every other pool project, by cutting power... evaluating required items (most of which people should have), and one new item.

The safe mixing of acid and water to a 1 to 4 ratio and the cleaning of the unit with the acid after a pre rinse with the hose for 10 minutes.

This is followed by post rinse. Post inspection and re-assembly.

Used acid water mixture should simply be dumped back into the pool.
