When it comes to getting lean and losing body fat, there are things you need to look out for. Some of the most popular “healthy” foods contain ingredients that are, in fact, not healthy at all.

You might think that yogurt is one of the healthier snack you can eat and in some cases, you might be right. You have to be on the lookout for what might be contributing to higher caloric count, such as when it comes to yogurt, added sugar.

There’s a difference between yogurt and flavored yogurt or yogurt that has fruit on the bottom. Just like there is a difference between quaker oats steel cut oats and quaker oats instant oatmeal packets. The latter is loaded with brown sugar which adds to the overall caloric density of the food.

Remember, just because you think you eat clean, doesn’t mean you are actually eating clean. You have to pay attention to everything that goes into your food and understand the effect that each ingredient has.
