pride this year was an unusual one huh? Here At Gagas (TM) we don't usually take ourselves too seriously and we're all pretty much just here for a good time but i feel it would be wrong not to acknowledge that a lot of things are changing. pride is not just a party or a celebration. the first pride (the stonewall uprising) was a riot, and today it is a protest, a demonstration, and a reminder to the rest of the world that we're here, we're not going away, you can't change us, and we will not be silent. try to ignore us if you want, but we'll make sure it's god damn hard to.

it's also very important that we place emphasis and focus on the fact that we would not have the movement we do today without the black trans women and drag queens who founded and lead our community. if you don't know what's up and haven't educated yourself already, please do it, and don't solely rely on black and/or LGBT people to feed you information. if you don't care, you're complicit—stand the fuck up with LGBT people of color or don't stand at all.

EXHALES all of that being said, happy belated pride from all of gagameps to our LGBT+ subscribers/viewers! sorry this came out in july because i am nothing if not a little fool but i think it was worth the wait bc i LOVE IT its very epic i love our gagalings very much and we had a lot of splits/replacements but we did it. i thought the song we chose was super perfect for this kind of theme as opposed to the standard pride theme and i loved seeing the parts come in which. speaking of, holy shit thank u kerry for managing the parts and desc while i was drowning in regular life stress because i owe you my life
