Protecting Yemen's communities and the environment from the impacts of climate change 🌍
In partnership with @world bank , we've achieved significant progress:
🌾 Safeguarded around 37,000 hectares of agricultural land from floods and improved irrigation canals
💧 Constructed and improved approximately 37 km of irrigation canals
✅ Implemented around 1 million cubic meters of rainwater harvesting schemes to combat water scarcity
🏘 Protected around 300 houses from floods
🚧 Rehabilitated around 1 km of sanitation network
💪 Provided around 214,000 people with improved access to safe sanitation and clean water
