In Part 15 (S2 E07)…
Everyone is devastated by Nicola’s death in a car accident and they support Justin through his grief. Kane and Tom tell their kids what happened. The school dance organising committee decide to go ahead with the event in Nicola’s memory. They decide on a 70s disco theme, and Kane and Tom will be the DJs. Justin decides to try and find the woman who was driving the car that knocked Nicola down, and nearly gets arrested in the process, but Kane and Mark persuade the police not to press charges. Lucy tells Kane that Finn has been sending her love letters, so Kane and Tom have to tell him that this is inappropriate, given the age difference.


Note … Set in Melbourne, this family orientated comedy drama is about the lives of four men who are helping to raise their children. They forge a friendship and help each other out with the trials and tribulations of their everyday lives.

Kane and Fireman partner Tom have been in a committed relationship for 7 years and are helping to raise Tom’s orphaned niece, Stella. Kane’s brother-in-law Mark works part-time and looks after his daughter, Poppy. Neighbour Lewis sold off his construction company and is a stay-at-home dad to daughter Tilda. Justin is a divorced former football star who is fighting for custody of his children.
