Dexter my Great Dane Dog has a shiny black coat, cropped ears, and patches of white on the toes of all four paws. My great dane also has a white patch of fur on his chest. I believe the AKC requires a great dane to be solid black with no white to be shown professionally, however I think my big great dane dog Dexter looks great just the way he is!
